Event Recap:
At the JV Volleyball County Championship tournament TZ proved that working together as team and never giving up will only bring you success. TZ started their day off beating Spring Valley 25-17, Clarkston North 25-14, and North Rockland 25-17. These victories put TZ in a great spot for the championship of this double elimination tournament. TZ meeting North Rockland again in the championship was no surprise to anyone. TZ came up short in the fist game against NR losing 25-15. With both TZ & North Rockland having one loss it was necessary for a deciding game. NR came out strong while TZ's nerves got the best of them. At one point NR was up 10 points but TZ never gave up and began to dig themselves out of the hole they had built. TZ held NR at 20 points and eventually won 25-23. The heart and determination of this team could not be matched! IT WAS A PERFECT END TO A PERFECT SEASON!!
